We continue these meetings again on Monday July 19th.

These meetings are open to anyone

 (Parish Room 7.30 pm - after the 6.00 pm Mass)

CHANGES

I have been asked if I will take on responsibility for the Saturday Latin Mass at St. Mary’s (Vigil for Sunday)

I have agreed to take this on temporarily. From the beginning of August the Saturday Latin Mass here at Heckmondwike will cease. However, because I want to make the Latin Mass available to people in my own parish, I have decided to celebrate it on Friday evenings (except for the last Friday of the month). I Have looked at all the alternatives to this. The School Masses will remain on Thursdays, and I cannot celebrate the Latin Mass on other days. I have to ensure that I have a server for these Masses, and Friday is the best evening for this. I am sorry if this inconveniences anyone.

The Friday Latin Masses will begin around the August Bank Holiday, when Fr. Tim has moved.

There will not be any Latin Masses during August.

AN URGENT MEETING

There will be an open meeting, for the Parish Council and anyone who wishes to come, on TUESDAY at 7.00 pm in the Parish Room, to discuss arrangements regarding the Pope’s visit, and a proposal for a future Charitable undertaking.

If you would like to be with the Pope for Mass or for a Prayer Vigil you MUST attend this meeting. If you cannot and would still like to go to London or Birmingham you may contact me at the Presbytery before next Friday.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Confession.

EVERY MONTH on the First Saturday Confession is available from 10.30—11.15 am

EVERY WEEK Confession is available each FRIDAY from

6.30 to 7.15 pm and each SATURDAY from 5.00 to 5.45 pm
